Led wiring

Hey guys
Just ordered underdash LEDs and it came with 2 strips wired into a switch and then the switch is wired into a cigarette adaptor
These only contain one black wire and the adaptor doesn't fit into my ciggerette lighter
I'm gonna hook it up to my battery but shouldn't there be 2 wires?
One pos and one neg?

just wire it into the back of your cigg lighter - the single wire is either both pos and neg in one or u need to wire the earth into the body of the car
strip the wire and find out
