    true that... and B20vtec and B19c7 cost nothing anywhere near B16a....and if you are going to go B18c7, go B18CR....

    starting with an extra 16kW is alot...if they cost the same I know which one id choose!

    It's not a front cut..complete engine it self with no loom, no ecu and gbox for$1200 its a b18c2 off a 96 tetra vtir...so I asked how much for a b16a gbox, engine loom, and ecu...they told me they can do it for $2000 all up..they have a good rep for being top blokes..either way it's probably all I need to get the engine running but I need other stuff to aye I.e mounts shift links etc p.s would I need to upgrade brakes and suspension or is that optional

    OP are you planning to build internals in this engine? If you are then it doesnt matter which B18 you choose, as there isnt any structural advantages from one to the other, just the internals.
