I had DC sport ebay copy headers before (topspeed), and I still gained ~14kw peak with the upgrade to weapon-r headers. The top speed headers had really good low/mid torque gains.

I bought the weapon-r headers off ebay US, the cat off healtoe for $300, but i've seen new cat's go for $200. Theres one for sale in the forsale section here for $140 second hand. I got the headers welded and installed at Mr Muffler in Mitcham, Vic.

anyone had problems with installing the WEAPONR header?

my mate bought one off ebay and he had to extend the runners as they are too short and its hitting the subframe. *might be for a k20?

No extending required, but mine was missing a hanger tho.. no problems with that, just got a new one welded on.

Hey npcan2 I've always wanted the Weapon R but changed my mind after hearing it doesn't have the CAT and stuff on it . I might be going back to that idea since it's running on yours . Do you mind uploading a video of how it sounds and all? I'm planning to go Weapon R Header, (Not sure which Hi Flow Cat) and a Skunk 2 Exhaust. I'm in Melbourne too so I will probably go to the same place you went to in Mitcham as it seems they know what they are doing !

I tried taking a sound clip of it... but it never comes out the same.
Although, a mate of mine said "It sounds like a wrx crossed with jet", this made me pretty happy

We need to do a Melbourne euro meet! Maybe in early July or something. I'll organise something.

Injen is easy to install, it comes with instructions. The hardest part is removing the resonator (instructions on ozhonda somewhere). It should take a few hours if you've never done it before.

My only suggestion is remove the bumper completely. It will make your life 100x easier, and it only take 4 bolts to remove

Yes yes, but my car is complete stock.. so maybe I'll take the beemer out instead hahaha. People says it only takes 30mins to a hour and your saying it takes a few hours?? Ahh that sounds like me as I've never dared remove anything from the car lol. Yeah I already know how to take off the front bumper so that should be easy. Is removing the resonator mandatory? And sorry to sound like a complete noob but what does it do? I know the exhaust has some resonators but intake?

Resonator is a part of the stock airbox intake, if if you put the injen in. The Resonator goes out.
