    The US insurers usually cash settle I believe. So it's quicker

    yeah..they said if they work on it and can't find the parts through Honda that the car would be a total loss and if we worked on it and wanted to keep it, they would just pay us out. So that's what we did because one, I don't want some random shop working on my car and two, I can find the parts cheaper.

    ^haha yeah, but it's good cause now I don't have to wait to get stuff. I can get everything asap and get it painted. So located a hood, 2 bumpers and a door today. Going to go pick those up in a town that's 4 hours away from us. So I'm looking at a 9 hour road trip and we are leaving Saturday at 6pm so looks like an all nighter almost for me lol.
