Hi,

Just having my car re-inspected and the biggest worry is my exhaust. I'm just wondering if a silencer is allowed in an inspection at Dickson?

What are the rules for placing the decibal reader? My exhaust is at a 45 degree angle so does that change the positioning of the reader?

depends what you mean by silencer mate

at worst, if you dont pass rego with your current exhaust, a rego muffler is around $150 from city exhaust in braddon

but is the exhaust tip too big?

when you say exhaust tip are you referring it to the end? i'm just looking for a silencer that i can shove in, if you get what i mean, my inspection is tomorrow and i'm on temporary rego for a week

My exhaust tip is 10 cms (4 inches) at the mouth, is that too big for a silencer insert?
