    Unhappy [CL9] odd whirring noise..

    Hi guys,

I'm new here, althrough I have a cl9 since 2003 when it first released. Never had any
major issues (excpet the usual door actuator failing)

until recently. I'm starting to experience a whirring noise from the car at low speeds, it's like the whirring noise you hear from those automatic Brisbane city buses(but rougher). the noise is both appearant during slower accleration AND lift off from gas padle... I am suspecting the gear box bit I only have the gearbox oil changed recently. Sparklers plugs are also new, so's the airfilter.

The service people claimed they didn't hear anything when they service the car so I'm bascially lost.....

Ps: I did search the site, didn't manage to find anything bar the pinging noises... I'm pretty sure this isn't it..

I had this problem too as you can see in this thread. Check your power steering fluid.

if your power steering fluid is really low then you might have a leak somewhere, check to see if you have a leak first
