so this is a spacer wher the mani connects to the block?

Maybe it works like a throttle body spacer - (makes no sense to me)

:S i dont see where thats meant to go, do prelude intake manifolds separate and expose the plenum?
i know say on a v6 commodore u put a spacer betwen intake manifold and block, it increases power, cuz increases plenum size.
but i dont think this is the same.
anything u want shorter runners, not making them longer.
also other thing i can think of is, some places make a spacer between intake manifold and head for so does heat doesnt get to intake manifold hence more power,
so unless thats pictures completely off. i dont know

IMO regardless not worth 100 bucks haha

    **EDIT
oh wow, quick google search and h22 intake manifolds do seperate haha
so yes in theory it wud work,
but i dont justify it as enof increase for 100 bucks

hondata intake manifold gaskets are a nice upgrade as they sheild the intake manifold from engine heat and increase the plenum length slightly
i use a hondata gasket every time now - they are worth the extra dollars

alot of rally cars etc use thick intake manifold gaskets - but they are usually made of crazy good materials and are hand made and cost ALOT of money
so far the hondata unit is the only one i have seen that doesnt leak/scratch and actually gives results
