Ahh I just re-read you first post... You mentioned that you do get a display but no sound? So I'd simpy try plugging in a 3.5mm jack-jack cable & see how u go.
It should work as all your needing now is an audio connection. The cable's are only like $9.95 from JB... the install is pretty simple to DIY.

It actually has a 3.5mm jack in the back also, I just didn't plug them both in at the same time. I'll give that a crack after work....egg on my face

damn, i read that a few places in the UK actually made them but no luck finding any. A friend of mine had one which was not a sticker that came in his type r including the air vents aswell.

nah its just a wet carbon wrap, only thing that was optional was the metal door plates that say ctr

Nah there are actually some carbon ones, not many but i have seen some that arent just an overlay. A UK company produced them some time back.
Might be close to no chance of getting one now though.

Airport West. Haha only place I see EP3s are in the city or at meets.

As it turns out I just had to plug in the 3.5mm jack that was already installed...feeling slightly stupid now
