96-98 civic front end on 99-00

i jus want to confirm if its possible to do a 96-98 civic front end conversion on the 99-00 civic, assuming its possible because the 99-00 front end is pretty much bolt on to the 96-98, so it should be vice versa?

also want to confirm if dc2r 5 stud conversion will fit on the ek civic,
because i have a mate who says it cant but im pretty sure it can

    cheers

yes it should be possible but why would you do that though?? facelift looks better but if you prefer pre-facelift then should've bought it in the first place.

yes dc2r 5 stud on ek is possible - do a search and you will find answers.

5 stud is useless unless you have particular rims that you cannot find in 4 stud. Its not just Dc2R an ek9 hubs, u can also use CRV, but all in all, use that money on other mods

i dont have one atm, i did have one, 99 ek sedan but sold it to a mate in need of a car and i am looking at getting another one soon,
i like the preface lift front better but dont like the rear on the preface lift model and i like the rear on the face lift model so just wanted to confirm the conversion is possible and not in anyway more complicated

definitely possible, bolt on job pretty much with a little bit of shaving of the inner tabs on front bar.

should just sell and buy a pre-facelift, saves the hassle of sourcing out the front conversion bits

What a dumb reply. It'd be more hassle trying to sell and then buy a new car.

You gotta either have enough spare cash to buy another car, which isn't always feasible, or you gotta go without a car till you buy a new one.

    So stupid.
