Does anyone have history with shaving emblems, antennas?
My rear Emblem just broke off when i was fiddling with it.. So might as well do the front as well..

I read, sanding it metal, fibergalssing the holes, then bondo then sanding again?

Dude heaps of people have ambers and no ones gotten in shit (that i've heard of).

You don't really need to shave the emblem with dark coloured cars, just cut out a piece of dark blue tape :P

I agree! Wasn't saying not to do it, just informing anyone interested. Dad's a police man and I'm still considering it.

Spent an hour or so in the freezing cold last night adjusting my headlights. It's amazing how much better night driving is! Seriously recommend doing it if your's are out of spec

Doesnt even make sense why its illegal. Clear indicators with stock parker bulbs come out even more yellow than amber indicators with leds.

How can you tell if your headlights have gone whack? My dad said ones pointing up too high but I never cared enough to fix it

The difference between clears and ambers is that the ambers would constantly glow amber, whereas the clears are only when you're indicating. Make sense?

Obviously, the drivers side light has to be lower so you do not blind oncoming traffic. There are plenty of writeups on the web as to how they should be positioned

First one in google under "headlight allignment" search. You should be able to figure it from there

This is where the gears are to adjust them on our DC4's

When i bought my car, the stock parker bulbs were amber as ****. The indicator was glowing amber regardless of if i was indicating or not. Changing the colour of the indicator made absolutely no difference

Oh if drivers light is lower then mine is ok

Of course the bulbs are amber. I can still see mine through the clear housing during the day. It isn't enough to make it look like im constantly indicating though, which is what amber HOUSING would look like.

Remember folks, laws are in place for the lowest common denominator. I'd love ambers, and those of us with a brain cell or two can tell we/you are not indicating.

    People are stupid

you can just take out the parkers lol

So then just get LED parkers true? The light from my parkers is a weak bright yellow and when i indicate it's a strong amber colour.
