If you want to stay d series, and be awd, you'll need to get the drive line out of either an awd wagonvan, or an awd ef sedan.

Hill climb. B18B or B20 with either B16 box or ITR box! Would be sick!

why would u change the gearbox on a D15b vtec engine? - they have the best gear ratios u can possible get for a D series gearbox lol

D15b vtec, D16y1/D16z and the D16y8 are the best options for D-series

going up from that you are looking at B16a, B16b, B18c2 than B18cR

depends on the chassis though - the D series are ALOT easier to fit into a smaller car like a mini or honda city or the older (1st n 2nd gen) civics
they are very underestimated as well

Because the D series boxes dont have a 4WD option...like a CRV box on a B series....well not as common anyway..

ah ok i see what you mean - it would most likely be easier to put in a B-series mated to a CRV box if you can

other than that you will have to track down an old D-series AWD box
