    1988 CRX bumpers?

I am looking at a rolling as a race car but it is shy the front and rear bumpers and front guards and bonnet. Are these same fitment as Civic the same year or stand alone units? Noob so be nice for the dumb questions.
    Thanks.

sad to think people have to be fearful to ask questions on a forum.
As for bumpers i dont think they fit.
As for parts there is places where u can get no doubt where abouts you located.

Haha..Thanks Snoop...common sense answer at last...Maryborough...Qld...I have a setup from a CRV...the idea is to make a sports sedan for sprints and hillclimbs with AWD on 8" slicks...the body needs some work but is cheap and needs the above parts so trying to work out the easiest/cheapest way to attack the project.

Leaning towards the whole CRV drivetrain at the moment..doing the VTEC head on the B20....seems to be a solution...hoping for about 550kg stripped out with cage and AWD and hopefully about 200HP on the B20 VTEC.

ED civic and crx front bumper's do fit
    but rear bumper No

If you go with Ed civic bumpers you will need ed guards as ed crx guards don't match up to lines and conner light are small on ED civic to crx

    hope that help you

likely there the same but to fit the 8" tyres you will have roll and flare the guard

Sounds like a great project mate, but I'm not sure about the 550kg/200HP part! I think the lightest CRX I've seen was about 750-800kg, and the best B20VTEC I've seen made about 135kw. But don't be fooled, those are great numbers. At 550/200 it would be crazy to drive!

There is a cheap CRX for sale here on the forum, I think about $1200 or so, with a running engine etc, otherwise you might need to check out ebay as these things rarely show up in the wrecker yard.

Yeah stripped out I will get close...plus removing all glass for perspex etc...still waiting for a reply for the one on here...geez you have to try hard to buy a car these days!..135kw is 180HP...I can live with that..my alternative is a 84 City Pro but think we will have trouble fitting the motor in the small front..

ED9 you're looking at yeah? I think they're 890kg so I'd love to see what you can get it down to.

Does it have a tin roof or sunroof? Sunroof alone stacks on a bit of weight and can be removed and filled with a carbon fibre plug to save you a good 15kg
