Would a spare fit into the spacesaver section in the back?

Get 4. Little use for the fifth.

Good choice for the rims. looks very racing.

$350 wheel & $190 tyre? or the other way around? Tenzo R is made by Lenso Thailand, good quality at decent pricing.

but make sure you check the tyres have the minimum legal load rating for CU2, some tyre shops would just sell you anything.

The 18" CU2 has min load rating of 98, not sure on the 17" CU2.. 95? but make sure the 19" tyre is not lower than the 17" one. could be a claim issue with insurance.

How come the 17" Rims on the base Euro come with a full size spare but the Lux+ models only have a space saver?

to save boot space according to Honda, imo it's to cut cost

the 18" is wider than the 17" (both tyre and wheel width).

btw a Michelin Primacy HP in 235 45 18 (made in France) is $350 each from Tempe Tyre.

Could an extra OEM 18" still fit into the spacesaver spot?

From experience, if you get a flat tyre, just use the one in the boot, go to a tyre shop within 20km and get it fixed.

Im not spending extra $500 for fifth rims and tyres when i know i wont be using them anyway. When you sell them next time, i dont think you will be able to add on the extra cost of the 5th wheel onto the price. Yes you might be able to replace them with ones with gutter rash.

OR you can get the fifth rims and tyre next time if you really need it.

    Obama said, YES WE CAN!

but the carpet floor won't sit properly, it'll be elevated a little bit.. if you have a CU2 luxury.. CU2 standard could a different scenario I think.

I think I should do a test fit first

would be a real hassle when you travel fully loaded in the boot w/ 5 people, then get a flat tyre... but there's roadside assistance service.

On my previous CU2 standard, I've used 18" Works XT7 and when one of the tyre went flat, I still can fit the 18" in the spare wheels area but like nat2 said, the carpet cant be closed properly.

    Bye2 Honda... Hello Mazda family
