Guys I noticed this particular noise this evening when driving home when I turn the wheel to the left it makes this knocking noise, seems like its coming from the sussy not 100% sure. On movement it doesnt happen but on a stand still when turning left it makes the noise. Any clue it might be before I take it to a workshop to get it checked out tomorrow?

tighten your LOWER control arm bush bolts - 2 x per side. These loosen up on my car all the time and make a awkward knocking randomly which is fixed the second you tighten them to 98ish NM.

I THINK it happens because i park on a gutter at work (car off the road) - and it pulls on the left hand side of the car/suspension

Yeah what Ben said, the same thing happen to my mums corolla. All we did was tighten the bolt for the lower control arm and it solved the issue.
