Hey hey. The bulb type for the civic fd is HB4. There are lots of different types of bulbs. HB4 is just the one for our model. Cheers & nice find !

Yeah. What eNGee said. Headlights are H4 and foggies are H11.

I installed the headlights and fog lights at home. Its was a paiinnnnnnn. . .
You cant install them from under the bonnet, You have to go up from the wheel arches.

    Enjoy and Good luck

you can also give these a go - i currently have them installed and they work great. also don't need to worry about where the ballast goes.

i bought this one as well, for my mums FD, it works really well, very bright. and theres no hassle for ballast placement cos its 1piece. pretty much a swap and go!
    i highly recommend this!

Just take the front bumper off... Then you can do foggies and headlights all at once and mount the ballast properly... Takes an hour max dude

hey guys, thought had a HID installed in my FD for a long time now. nearly 3 years and one right side bulb is gone. I dont what happened but its gone for good. Sometimes it flickers but nothing much. Now what can i do. I tried searching online for a single bulb replacement but cant find much info about it. So what are my options. Can i just take out the HID bulb and replace it with normal bulb ?

Any advice or experience would be appreciated.

you can buy the HB4 bulbs man, ebay has them.

Buy a new pair, as opposed to getting just one, as the colour of HID's changes slightly over their life, and alot of them aren't exactly the "K" rating that they say.
