    CV Shafts....

Does anyone know if its possible for a left-hand side cv shaft to be put into the right-hand side?

I had ordered a left+right pair but got 2 rights and while trying to get a damn replacement the people are like "mechanic must have put the left one we sent into the right-hand side."

Short answer - yes. The mid shaft corrects this indifference in length....

But technically they are different part numbers - for example 06443-ST8-508RM and 06444-ST8-508RM for L/R (vtir or type R) for example.

the only difference i can see - is the rubber balancer is a different part (and perhaps different weight or design/shape)
One is 44351-SR3-A11 and the other is 44351-SR3-J01.

dunno about DA but one side for dc2 has ABS ring and costs more normally :S

but if the car's working fine and there's no weird behavior then there's no problem
