+ 1 try out the rear sway bar first. I think it'll help more than the rear strut

Yeah, those coils are a bit weird. I had to put the rears on max height when I had some 18x9.5 +30 wheels with 235 tyres and no camber arms. There was only about a 2mm gap between the rear guard and tyre. I could get around on flat straight roads okay, but bumps and turns were aweful. To the point where smoke would pour fr
the tyres rubbing on the guards lol.

The coils do lowering very well, but are mot so good at raising. Just take ur wheels off til u can get some smaller tyres

    Yeah Sorry Bao

On another note - stock sussy back in and now when on highway and around 110~ i randomly get periods of a few seconds each where the steering wheel shakes a lot? :S

Is it as simple as a wheel alignment or something else?

Wheel alignment will usually fix this. Can also come from uneven camber or toe.

Sometimes it may be due to lower control arms that are on their way out too. When the rubber gets old and loose you get too much play.

Also check that your wheel nuts are all tight, but if it were loose nuts you'd likely hear clunking too.
