ek1 engine conversion ecu plug Q

Doing an engine conversion in a 99 ek1.

    Using an EM1 engine harness.....

now the issue is, the em1 harness doesn't have ecu plug A on it....
bought an em1 dash harness and found that there is no ecu plug A on that either...

what's the deal? do i need it? if i do, which harness is it on?

you cant use the EM1 engine harness unless you do some wiring in the cabin. is it easier to use the EK4 engine loom, it will be plug and play.

    EK4 is OBDIIa
    EM1 is OBDIIb

the A connector on the OBDIIb is part of the cabin loom. you also have a different type of immobiliser on the ECU and requre a bypass module.
