The full Turbo kits are sold for about $8000 (incl an AEM :O !!). A V8 swap will set you back atleast 30k. Regardless, I think the first step is to sell the DC5, then look for and drive some S2000s. And then maybe things will clear up on what you want to do.

Ohh Lol - I thought u were talking about my tick tick tock engine!. Ye I searched it on google where 2 s2k's came from Japan about a month ago down here in some Western suburb in NSW. I found them thru google when I was looking for a steering rack, but can't seem to locate them anymore....Everynow and then there are a couple that to come from Japland, u just have to be on the ball, or I guess call up places like these and ask them if they expect to be shipping one.

i thought the point of the s2000 was a light, FMR layout vehicle with good handling and a REVVY engine??

with a v8 wouldnt u lose all of that?
its not gonna be light, no way can you keep the weight distribution that the original engine gave, and it will be far from revvy.

Im with you on that one, but some people beg to differ on the 50 50 ditribution of the S2000 with an LS in it..

The only issue i see with such a transplant is the stuffed up weight distribution

go for it. though, would be unique and i love the sound
