check if its been in an accident b4.
check if any panels are not inline.
    test drive the car.
    check if theres any leaks.
may sure that everything is in perfect order.
check the log books and get a roadworthy cert.

prices range from 5k to 16k depending on condition and mods.

u can pick up a stocky with d16a8 for 5-9k
    SiR's are 9-11.5k
anything over say 11.5k is prolly highly modded (appearance wise) with a huge ugly kit and chromies with leather interior - don't go there

I've recently bought a crx ('95) 2nd hand, I paid $14,000 with 120 000kms.....I'm assuming you know what the basics are to look for in a front wheel drive car. (eg: cv joints, etc) make sure you test drive the car. Take a mechanic and/or a panel beater to get a proper opinion. Check for good service history and previous accident damage/history. Pay close attention, if car is stock look for signs to see if it has previously been modified (eg: wheels, suspension etc). Be very careful if the car has been resprayed as it often covers up shit.
    Have fun and good luck!!!

if the engine has been looked after and well maintained/serviced then dont be too scared of high KM's ... my old CRX had done 330,000 before I sold it (310,000 on D16a8 engine, 20,000 on B16A engine)

I sold my gen2 for $13,500 but it was highly modifed (in looks AND PERFORMANCE thank you haha)

you can pick up some basic modified gen2's for around the 10k mark now also, theres a few for sale down in Adelaide for around $10-12k modified.

personally I wouldnt buy a gen2 crx for any more then $13k no matter how many mods... unless ofcourse it was a track or drag car with massive modifications.
