well you have your socket and the bulb, just take the bulb out and twist it like 180degrees whilst outside of the socket, and put it back in and twist it haha

:/ dual filament bulbs wont go in the wrong way, the teeth on the side are uneven, they'll only go in one way, if its not as bright, see if its brighter with only parkers or only brake. if its brighter with the parkers, you've connected it wrong and you need to re-do the wiring.

mine wasnt as bright when i pressed the brake or even in parkers, flipped the bulb over and now its even

Depends on the bulb and holder, BA15D #1142 dont have offset "teeth" so they can go in two ways.

No worries mate, lol yeh they arnt very common but ive seen them on led sites and some old american cars seemed to use them. The ones i think your talking about are the BA15D #1157 which come with offset "teeth", More sensible design IMO as you cant reverse it unles you cut teeth off or jam it in the holder too hard.

FYI, genuine EK9 tail lights do not have dual filament bulb in the bottom it's a single fillament t10 5w therefore you wanna look real run a single filent bulb holder with 5w bulb

Lol hes saying the genuine ek9 ones only have one brightness level(single filament) where as this DIY has two brightness levels(dual/double filament).

A filament is the piece of metal in an incandesent bulb that emits lights.

Single filament = only on when parking lights are on OR only on when braking
Dual/double filament = on dim brightness when parking lights are on AND on full brighness when braking
