Got my old transmission out of the car yesterday finally. it was pretty scary lowering it out as we weren't sure if it was gonna drop out all of a sudden or not but everything turned out ok. gonna install my exedy clutch and flywheel over this week and hopefully get the ITR transmisison in on the weekend.

yeah i took my wing of for a month. i liked it off untill i went airbourne. i put the wing on as soon as i got home. stupid melbourne bumpy roads and teins monoflex arent a good combo

Did a few quotes and turns out insuring a dc2r isn't THAT much, however the agreed value is quite shit. Max AAMI lets you raise it to is $12xxx

Im with aami and i pay ~1k maybe abit more for full comp. Agreed value is 14k yeah its pretty shit lol

You guys looking for insurance with AAIMI need to call them up and put on your negotiation hat. I pay $7xx for full comp and have an agreed value of nearly 15k. I'm the primary driver and 22 (21 when quoted).

That's what they would like you to think but it's not true in reality. You can always get a better deal if you call. I got my dude to go away and talk to his supervisor so I could get a better agreed value on my car
