    Type r cvs in a eg civic... need help!

    ok so im doing a b18 conversion to my eg civic and i got type r cvs with the motor but aparently there to big to fit so i have to get gsr ones.. but when i rang a place today he told me to just simply knock the abs ring off and they will fit????

    you mean the HUB of these driveshafts ? They will be 32mm (96-98 JDM , 96-00 AUDM) or 36mm (98-00 JDM).

    What hubs / brakes are you putting these into ?

    abs ring has got nothing to do with fitting shaft to knuckle.
    what type r is it? where did you get it from? what was it advertised as? what year itr?

    Maybe he is talking about the ring in the Drive shaft,

    wont fit if engine number is b18c

    you need to get driveshaft that is 32mm to suit your car.

    You can use with civic vtir, integra vtir or even gsi

    In regards to ABS rings, You can run abs drive shaft on a non abs vehicle
