Ok cool. Refresh all the parts up that need it so you have a nice, tight car. I can see the value in that!

technically it still is an engine mount as it's mounted to the engine yo.

    Here's the old one:

Looks like cambelt side mount needs to be done too. The tranny mounts seem ok. I should do them all in one go once i get em all.

My spark plug is mounted to my engine. Is it an engine mount mike?

lol just trolling. Yes they are engine mounts, but a specific type referred to as a torque mount

Been gettin' a few things done to the car, which has been fun.I always enjoy playing, especially when there's a very nice road quietly waiting next door

I used a Claybar on the car.Such a must out here in the bush,2 times/year.
The lower mesh grill was coming off, fixed that.
Spray painted the wiper (on the car lol)

Timmy's coming ova today and we will install the rear 4pt in my car and Front lower 2pt in his.And he installed the c-pillar brace yesterday! Looking forward to the 4pt as the front is real stiff now with the 3pt,so the car NEEDS the 4pt to balance it.I felt that when I bought em',so I got em' both!

In 2-3 weeks, will get the Skunk2 IM WOOT WOOT!!

I will keep the stock 56mm TB and just bolt it strait on.It's dyno proven on d-series that more useable power is made with the stock tb vs a 60mm tb.

There's the issue of the 'reverberation step'... It should not be port matched, the IM should be 2mm larger than the tb..

The Skunk2 IM is 65mm.So that is a difference of 9mm which means the Skunk2 IM is 4 1/2mm larger than the tb..

But if you look at the back of the tb,the parts that touches the IM,it is not 'solid',it is broken up because of all of the air passages, over half of it,so I will just leave it and not touch it.I mean I won't bother using a file and making a step unless thier seems like there's an issue there.

haha I put in a google image search and my photo was there:

The back of the d16y4 tb

If anyone has any ideas on the 'Reverberation Step',let me know
