    B series into a daihatsu mira?

    Hey guys, don't know where this should go but I came to the noob forum. Can a b series engine. Maybe a b16 or b18 fit into a daihatsu Mira?

    Very true benson. But does anyone know if the engine bay Is big enough for a b series?

    Nobodys gonna know the inner bay dimensions of the Mira off the top of their head.
    You're best taking your tape measure and checking it yourself

    Had a look on google and found some pics.

    Doubt it'll drop straight in, you'll probably need to cut the chassis to fit the gearbox. Then there's the positioning of the motor as the b series sit slightly infront of the front wheels

    Possibly a definite maybe. Why a diahatsu mira?
    Did you want to make it road legal? You would have to upgrade the brakes/suspension etc.
    I can see this costing a lots of money for little result..

    Can I suggest using the Mira as a DD and using a Honda platform for your B-series project?
