Re-apply some heat resistant paste between the ICM and heatsink. I've done it a couple times now (on different hondas) and it has worked everytime
Main relay might need re-soldering also, check that out too.

spoke to some other people, just cheaper changing my whole distributor!
ICM is over $300! just part
found a whole distributor for 190 just change it my self

I bought brand new Japanese ICM for $70 2 weeks ago.
I've used those cheap brand new $150 whole distributors.

Moisture somehow got inside the distributor, rusted the main shaft, causing friction........melting the rotor button.
    Mistiming resulted.

    Previous owner installed it.
    Great value.

I got a second hand "OEM" item. replaced coil and ICM.

virtually brand new OEM dizzy for a little bit over the cheap nasty one.

ahhh damnn main shaft rusted (N) ! that sucks !
yeah this one is oem just 2nd hand though.
will see how it goes ! i know it is abit tricky to change the icm as ive been told.

just checked now as i wasnt getting any spark out of my coil, so must be icm!
ill just change the whole thing, get the timing right and see how i go (Y)

If second dizzy doesn't work, try swapping internal parts.... ICM, coil.

see if that helps before you spend more money.

this happened to me too, turned out to be the coil or was it called coilpack??
