i reckon if you are worried about legal issues
    dont mod your car

considering the fact that cops can pick on you for anything
even your lights are too white too bright gets u in trouble
i read on clubrsx dat a cop was question some guy's dc5r
why are the front seats (red recaros) not the same as the black rear seats

there's a difference with driving an illegally modified car and driving what a cop sees as a defective car.

carbon fibre does not bend/fold over like metal during impact. It can shatter, if you have an accident it can cut someone. The car has not been crash tested with the bonnet.

you could paint the carbon fibre bonnet, but theres not that much point doin it? After all if its painted you wont be able to see the carbon fibre, and then most of all, the purpose behind using cf bonnets is to reduce weight? Why would you want to spend all that money doing that, then paint over it and add weight? My opinion
...... and that's all I have to say about that.

after painting the cf hood, it will still be lighter than having a steel bonnet.
    paint doesnt weigh THAT much...
