If i had a DC5R or S, K24a3 engine can be picked up for like $800, add a better oil pump for more revs ie K20a etc say around $1500 for nessesary upgrades 50Degree VTC, new seals, oil what ever etc
The engine swap isnt that hard as the chassis already has a K series, so i would probably swap it myself, Other wise backyarders $300-500
BYP boys have a package for a K-pro and tune for $1750
all up ~ $4500 , sell K20A/Z engine for $2500-3500 so say between will cost you $1000-2000 and your laughing 150kw atw + shit load of torque.
or you can have that built motor
+ add what ever modifications or engine built ~$5000-8000

The S/C is probably the best bang for bucks as the total outlay is less,
But you'll be faster with a turbo. (But the total cost is also more)
    http://www.full-race.com/store/turbo...turbo-kit.html
    Last one I did made 280kw @ the wheels @ 12psi (Internally Std AUDM DC5R K20A)
+ RBC, 3" Ex, Bosch 1000cc inj, walbro pump in tank, K-pro etc
    Turbo used was a GT3076R,
K's love boost... Be that S/C or Turbo.
Personally I prefer turbo, but it does cost more to get it right.

(& don't forget the clutch will need to be upgraded)

The good rotrex ones from the UK still delete the power steering (EP3 kit), though I could be wrong.
I don't know of a DC5 kit that keeps everything. (Except for crappy roots type systems that aren't worth a pinch of shit)

Damn, 280kw on a standard k20a2! im sure the power delivery wouldn't be as linear as a supercharged setup though?
