I'd love to, but when i sell my car i want to take all my speakers back out and put into my next car so i dont want to touch anything visible. Thanks for the idea though.

btw is that pic out of a DIY? i tried to make my own speaker pods, did really well until i thought id use matting coz i just knew one of my drunk mates would kick it in accidently some time. The matting worked, but yeah just became a pain in the a*se to work with so i abandoned it, cut the plastic out of the back of my door and they sit behind the grille of the original speakers. My 6x9s do as well, so ppl are suprised when i turn on my sound system hehehe

The panels over the mirror bit cost about 15 bucks to replace each so grab a pair from a wreckers or something to put in place of the ones you have to screw into to mount the tweeters. Thats what I've done on my eg. Good place to mount them, good imaging. Forget double sided tape or anything like that, it won't work during an Australian summer especially for something heavy like a tweeter.

Yeah I agree with Captiva_Blue, just buy those panels from a wrecker cos that seems like the best place to mount em.
    Should be quick and effective

haha ok i didnt know they were that easy to get. now the only obstacle is the mountings ive got are angled, or flush mounts. id like to use flush mounts but theres like a little clip behind the plastic? maybe if i glue it to the back of the mounting?
...... and that's all I have to say about that.
