Type R conversion is not affordable. Sell and upgrade if you feel the need for a quicker car.

what is your budget? I saw one ages ago in indonesia, this dude converts the EU civic to EP3R spec, with K20 and all and won couple of Auto salon in Indonesia as 'King'. Looks good...

but yeah, it all depends on your budget

doing the engine conversion itself will be close if not over 10K already...and then the exterior, interior, wheels...the list goes on.

I was thinking of doing this with a k24 as it is cheaper then a k20 engine conversion alone would be about 8k to have everything running properly. Then parts paint brakes all adds up not worth it just buy an ep3

I say do the type r conversion for the EU3, its going to look more unique then your typically looking EP3R, sounds like a good project.

yeh as it's 4 door, more practical. I heard that EU3 chassis is different to EP3 R so engine wont fit. Is this true?
