DC5S has upgrades to suspension geometry, stiffer sway bars both front and rear, thicker rear cross member, rear strut brackets have 3 extra connecting points on each side, revised front strut/chassic brace is bigger and stuffer, cams similar to JDM DC5R, stronger crank, revised spring and damper rates, additional engine bay reinforcing, quicker ratio for steering, larger brake master cylinder, larger diameter exhaust, lower NVH due to more sound deadening.
