Definately Input shaft bearing. It'll require the gearbox to be removed and open up. Very least all parts will need to be cleaned due to input shaft bearing failure.

what synchros? 4-5 usually never worn unless some really hard gear mashing is frequent.
1 gearset usually cost $300+ from honda US.

cheapest option is get second hand gearbox.
edit: just realised you bought another D gbox haha. yeah cheapest and quickest way.
    good luck!

    too many timewasters man haha.
why didnt you check out local bearing shop? as long as you have dimension and type, they can match it for you.
    made in japan too. Koyo/NTN/etc

google for part number and when you punch it in oemacuraparts.com, it will give dimension.

1/3rd price and no wait for same brand. coles.

So people can confirm they've purchased after market mainshaft bearings before?

Am I the only one who can't seem to source them even with the dimensions?!

Have call 2 major bearing suppliers who have both said I need to go genuine even after I gave them the dimensions!

Some after market part numbers world be nice...

From what i was told, apparently the honda syncros alone are expensive, than factor in also other small bits in peices and than also the other bearings, than ontop of that labor to strip apart the gearbox and gears and put it back together... starts adding up nicely

    $1500 was a full rebuild
$900 just to replace the sycros, and bearings
