If its for both i would not get 8000k you cant see anything its just very blue. I personally dont like hids higher then 4300k as they dont provide sufficient light.

What do you have on yours? And have you cleaned your headlights?

What about the housing on the lights? Have they ever been dirty?

HID's are piss easy to install..

    5000K is the brightest.

    I've tried all.

Not correct the lower k rating the brighter the less blue the light. The higher the k the bluer the light and less brightness. 4300 is brighter then 5000 however if you go to low it turns yellow

    Okay let me rephrase.

PERSONALLY; 5000K is brighter than 4300K.

4300K has a yellow tinge. 5000K is pure white.

I've installed over 100 kits ranging from 4000K to 35,000K and this is what I found out.

    All different brands mind you.

have you called Honda yet? call them up and give 'em your VIN number and they'll tell you if the car has any outstanding issues (call back) that this model had.. i've booked mine in for headlight clips and power steering hose issue.

also, wanted this to be installed as well once its cleaned http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/EDX-v1-HI...item3cb07f2994 - is that simple to install (DIY) or do i need this professionally installed?

Your help is much appreciated go !!
Lol that guy that fixed it up and wrote that is me! From memory I thought it was pretty detailed but obviously not, but if you want more details or specific information I can let you know. It's hard to tell, but the fix i posted is only for the uv clear cost failure on the headlight, not condensation inside the headlight. Its hard to tell, I thought mine was inside the headlight from condensation at first, but if you post pics here I can let you know.
