    cl9 rear machined hubs or not?

    hey guys, i just purchased a set of front and rear slot rotors, and the supplier asked whether or not my rear hubs are machined or not? does anyone know the answer. ive got a 05 accord euro lux

    ..... the hell is he going on about.

    Accords dont run a brake shoe hub along with the disc.
    Hubs dont need to be machined. Just a quick sand paper to get rid of any rust build up and bolt her up.

    Brake disc/rotor replacement on hondas are basically bolt on bolt off.
    No extra machining or measuring required, unless using aftermarket units (big brake kits).

    even big brake kits like from Racingbrake don't need any machining

    thanks for the reply. i was under the impression it was s bolt off and on job and yhen the suppliers asking ne about hub? ill just tell him to send non machined hub slot rotors and if they fit they fit i guess. thanks for the info

    As long as the dimensions match the stock rotors, they will match. Make sure you get replacement set screws if you stripped the original ones when you took them off.

    Also make sure you thoroughly clean off any rust on the wheel hub (use a brass brush) and apply a thin layer of anti-sieze before you put the new rotor on. You don't want rust occuring in between the hub and the new rotor's hat.

    will do mate. the supplier sent me the rotors for machined hubs by accident so ill just see if they fit n otherwise ill swap them. gonna stuff me around but what can u do. thanks for the info guys
