mate helped me buff out some scratches on corners of my car, front 2 i didn't get a chance to take a photo of but they were the worst, yellow column paint from when i let him borrow my ek for his p's test from the rta columns hahaha. came out perfect with this scratch removal cream.

back corner was pretty scratched up as you can tell, few minutes of elbow grease and it turns out liek new

Aight guys got some bad news... already posted in the DIY hardrace camber kit thread but this is kind of urgent so hopefully I can get an answer either here or there. anyway, I went to install my hardrace rear camber kit. Right hand side was easy, bolts came out with no problems at all. LEFT hand side however, both bolts connecting to the frame were so seized it's not funny. Tried WD40, some other penetrating fluid, big breaker bar - nothing worked. One of them the head is nearly stripped, and I can't get it out. The other one is even worse - I thought I'd gotten it because it made the lovely 'broken the seal' noise - but it's actually just spinning endlessly in the hole and won't come out. Umm... help?

yer i been raeding my thread and seeing this.. okay well u need go out and get urself these rachet/braker bar sockets, what they have is little teeth inside them which lock on the bolt, and allow you to undo them no matter how bad the damage is, if u got a sydney tools near u then they got em and there also a great help, but just chill out, cos freaking out about it only make things worse trust me lol let me know how u go

Got some time off work for holidays so got a few jobs done:

    * installed new Top Gun ignition leads
    * vacuumed interior, seats and cleaned plastics
    * topped up coolant
    * removed mugen sticker from boot lid
    * sanded off rust and repainted number plate bracket + shined screws
    * cleaned out air filter and intake piping:

This is what it looked like when the filter came out. This is industrial air conditioning filter material I put over the top of the pod with Yamaha foam filter oil (from my dad's old bike lol - sticky as sh*t it is!).

The white stuff is washing powder - got a bit on there before took photos. Opps.

Original pod filter still looks brand new underneath:

Found little pebbles at bottom of intake:

Oiled it up, strapped it down, and now I have a big blue fairy floss under the mugen lid

Why do you run the fairy floss over the filter? Filter on filter seems like a restriction to me?

Bit of an experiment really + bit of because I didn't have k&n oil and wasn't sure with using what I had on the k&n filter - but going by the results it filters brilliantly!

Ah ok, are you going to try it back to back with and without? No doubt it filters well, but is it causing a restriction?

    for trying something different though!

yeh I mean I guess the more filters you add the more you're trying to stop the air, so yes, I'd say there most likely is some added restriction.

    thanks for the rep
