thats 7.4ltr/100km's. 120km/h on my speedo constant. Car is 10km's away from the 80,000km mark.
from memory, i get roughly 450km's per tank combined city/highway.
This is exactly the sort of mileage I get with mine (just cracked 100 000km) and should probably be the norm for dc2rs without big modifications. If you aren't getting something like this, there is something wrong with your car or you need to adjust your driving style. For instance, I've found since I've stopped constantly heel-toeing on down changes I have improved my economy.

You'll save on fuel, but increase wear on your mounts & clutch
Maybe slightly, but I think other aspects of how you drive will influence wear on these parts more. I think my generally grandma-style driving will more than make up for the lack of throttle blipping.
I think if you get in a car with an active trip meter you really learn what uses fuel and what doesn't. In a fuel injected car, if you leave the car in gear and use zero throttle (as you can down hills), you will use no fuel. Low gears are good for saving fuel but not if the car is struggling (then they do the opposite)
