No, my Mrs had one of those mirrors before it melted and fell off in the sun so I believe I speak from experience.
With the standard mirror, you see the complete rear windscreen.
All the mirror does is let you see more of the interior of your car. You don't actually see more behind you, you just see more of the backseat/C pillars etc.

I see it all the time. Not only just Asians, but many drivers.
They look left mirror, middle mirror, right mirror, but they don't know what they're looking at.
They are so hopeless at reverse parking.

looking but they don't know what to look for.
What they need to learn is spacial awareness and make believe the car is an extension of their own body.

Cool, cheaper than ebay and quicker to get. I hope they have the wideangle ones in the 270mm size.

bludger is right - ur far better off glancing over your shoulder and being aware of your can than having a wide mirror that will just show u the interior of the car lol

I found the stock DA9 rearview mirror to be pretty bad. I was unable to see the completely out the rear windscreen. A friend gave me his 270mm flat Broadway mirror for free and I can now see both edges of the rear windscreen. His main complaint was that it vibrated when driving, rendering it almost useless, but he also drives an FD1 with massive, well designed mirrors compared to my car.

If he asked for it back, I would definitely buy one...

The shop did have a 270mm in the convex face only one. I chose to get flat. Hopefully with engine mounts it wont rattle too much
