Numerous parts on a EM will fit compatiable with other models. For example various EK / EM / EJ parts can be replaced easily. Strut is one of them.

Thank you so much for the information!

BTW: is it there any difference between between the pre-facelift and facelift model on struct bars?

    Thanks again!

EK1 pre-facelift doesn't have the studs to mount the factory EM1 or EK9 strut brace, pretty sure the EK4 face lift does have them though...

If you don't have the studs then you have to get a brace that mounts on the top of the shock/strut rather than the strut tower

If it doesn't have the studs it should have grommets and you can just byo bolt

EK1 - easy job to make the em1 strut bar fit.

If u dont have the bolts then just drill the holes as they are pre-punctured on the strut chassis tower then install the em1 oem strut bar using the bolts of your choice

Ive got one selling if ur keen.
B to BFrank to K .... ive had it ......

Are there many benefits of an aftermarket strut brace which mount on top of the shocks/strut compared with the stock brace??
I've got an EK4 with a stock brace and am thinking of replacing or doubling up if the shapes permit.
    Any thoughts?

    Cheers

    Carbing and Spoon do.

There are various brands too but you will have to search for images for them installed or trial yourself

stock bar will do just fine. adding more won't make any noticeable difference unless u are a hardcore track man.
