high pitch noise every minute or so when AC is on in new Euro

Hi all, put 700km on my new Euro, absolutely love it!

Only issue I am having is a high pitch whir which I have isolated to air-conditioner. Its very high pitch and feint and happens every minute or so when AC is on only.

Anyone have any ideas what this may be (will take it in for first service soon but would like to know what it is).

My friend has an 2011 euro and had the same problem when he first got the car. It started getting less obvious after a while and totally forgot about it until i saw this thread. The noise is now gone and hes done 8000km.

Sounds like it could possibly be the A/C compressor when it cuts in & out, tho it is hard to tell without listening to it
