    btw can anyone confirm if this true.. I read somewhere online saying due to the shift position of the EP3R heavy gear knobs may cause it to pop out of 3rd gear under hard acceleration..

    hence why I've being holding back and staying with the stock gear knob..

    ^ I too have heard such theories when I was considering buying a skunk2 gear knob. There's quite a debate on whether weighted gear knobs will damage our synchros too..

    Actually, it's rocker cover gasket.

    Best to get this replaced while you also do valve clearance. It's not an expensive job.

    Mine has a bit of oil seepage too but not as severe.

    personally i did't want to put more strain on the shifter and i found no real benefit on shift feel with a heavier gear knob on the EP3.

    so i used the stock one and screwed it all the way down. i didn't care about the pattern.
    GD3 -> EP3 -> RB3

    FS Rays nuts etc

    Running the Blox 490 Spherical knob for nearly a year now, 490 meaning 490g haven't experienced anything out of the ordinary - Debatable as mentioned above i'm running with BC short shifter so things may differ on stock? doubt it though
