Is the car bogging down on acceleration when it throws this CEL?
Try a dizzy swap with a friend to exclude other sources EG. ECU terminals.
Or may be dizzy housing too. Also the coil inside detects the electromagnetic signals that determine cylinder position and the coil can deteriorate with ongoing exposure to engine heat etc.
