haha yeh same thing happened with youi too, they actually called me coz my online quote wouldnt go through, kept me on the phone for about 40mins and then their premium came up to 5k
NRMA seems the best option so far, I spoke to someone from NRMA and asked them if they cover any mods, she said as long as its included in the agreed car value, then its covered..
Is that the case with u too hiko?
i did not have any mods in my car so i can't comment
however if you are truthful when getting a quote and have read everything your policy covers for modified accessories or personal effects you maybe required to get the car inspected. in the past i've always get receipts and pink slips or even engineer certificate to cover my backside.
personally i'd rather spend the extra money on getting a faster/better car than chipping in little by little in mods
