    Recaro fabric/trim?

Where can I get some recaro fabric from?
Basically I have DC2R front seats and I want to get matching fabric/suede for the door trim, back seat etc

I was thinking of Honda... but I am a bit scared of what they might wanna charge me

all you can do is ask mate....Yes is gonna be a ridulously high price....but that car manufacturers!!! I would just take it to a Automotive upolsterer(i think that how ya spell it)....they can match it almost if not perfect and its gonna be heaps cheaper aswell!!!

red suede is easy, any auto trimmer will have some.

as for the fabric, thats a different story

the seats dont use recaro trim, recaro cant help you, nor roman autotek. the seats use an exclusive honda trim and no you cannot buy it off them. they can sell you the whole cushion (for one seat) for $655.10 i kid you not

i went crazy looking for the stuff. your best bet is to try motor trimmers, even they may not have the same trim

if you do end up finding the fabric do tell

    I did call Honda...
    I believe you!
They only sell the seats in pieces.
So I asked how much roughly a seat would cost if I got all the individual components and put them together. It was near enough 5 grand a seat...

I guess I am stuck looking for the fabric, which I see it unlikely to happen as I have been looking for trim before to change interior colour but not leather and it seems like there is not a lot in fabric materials at car interior places

Yep, the fabric is near impossible to find. Lisa and co at Idealseat have searched high and low for the fabric (the suede is easy to do) and cannot find it
Same above, if someone does find it, I'd like to know too.
