Rather then create another one, thought I'd just bump this up. I'm looking for a mechanic as well to service my car and change the clutch as well. Any to recommend?

New clutch +labour to change and machine flywheel is normally around the $1000 mark dude when your paying for mechanic labor.

Maybe youll get it done a couple of hundred cheaper if you're lucky but it's not like they just doubled the price when they saw how clueless you look.

definately not ABS at osborne park. I got quote for s2000 oem replacement exedy clutch, part alone cost $1100 and Heavy duty costs $1500. + 7 hrs of labour including machine the flywheel.

I was like..... "Are you for real?"

    JDM Yard charge under $800.

I think in WA, u better get the parts online and install locally.
