    EK Drum Brake Cylinders/Shoes

    Hey guys,

Need to replace the brake cylinders/shoes on my EK (rear drums only).

Does anyone have any information on which cylinders/shoes the EK uses? I do believe the cylinders are fairly universal for any model car, but the place I went to source the parts from had difficulty finding matching shoes.

    Any info is much appreciated

Note: I'm talking about the wheel/brake cylinders (the 'springs' inside the drum), not the master/slave cylinders found under the bonnet near the firewall.

And edit: Most people recommend doing a 5 stud/rear disc conversion - this is not financially possible for me at the moment - however, it is under consideration for the future.

    no cylinders aren't universal.

As for the shoe, they should be the same as an eg.
