    lol @ commodore.

To begin with - who's "low budget" is this ?

a rough guide on prices -
    #1 – Lightweight flywheel = $400-700
    #2 – Heavy-duty clutch = $300ish
    #3 – Lower final drive = $900ish
    #4 – Modified stock airbox (Aka Hondata) = $400+ ?
    #5 – Header + cat + JDM DC5R or Mugen cat back = $1000 ++
    #6 – Hondata K100 = $600ish + ?!?

Normal low budget mods (free DIY or cheap) usually are Cold air intake , Hi-flow airfilter replacement , advance timing a few degrees , cheap header + hi flow cat + cat back piping , weight reduction....start with these and then go from there .

I'm assuming ma$e owes a DC5 Integra... because those are mainly mods above suitable only for a DC5....
advancing timing a few degree's on a k20 engine = impossible its direct fire ignition, no distributor... oh and cheap headers just don't work on the k20 engine.. been there and tested that more power in tuning the stock headers, than tuning after market cheap headers...

hardly any of the above mods you have suggested applies for the GSi Manual...

dc2 b18b none vtec engine vs a DC5 k20 ivtec engine very very different.

Hardly any of the mods applies to a dc2 gsi manual??

All the mods can be applied to the car except maybe the hondata k100. (i just have no idea what this ecu does) Also i think he means dc2r jdm headers. Modified stock airbox aka hondata, i don't think they make one but i suppose you could put a sticker on it?

    For your gsi just get
dc2r jdm headers (can get it from hondar, one of the traders) $850?
fart can muffler, below $200 maybe ask for a bit of piping to the cat.
airbox, there's a few diy's under $200 or you can buy a really expensive one for $450? comptech?
This isn't including prices to install it.

That should make you able to beat commodores (nothing above SS though)
But with all that money spent you could have bought yourself a vtir and that will beat them stock.

    or... turbo your gsi
