    Ek1 Headers

Hey does anyone have an ek1 with headers installed? with stock exhaust besides the muffler? any difference? or if u are going to do the header mod, u need to do exhaust to get some gain?

you will get gains with headers on any system so long as you get a decent set.

The amount of improvement will depend on the car's other mods, ie. cat back system. CAI, etc.

The car will still improve in responsiveness

Ya, i've got headers on EK1.

Though they were on the car when i bought it so i dunno how much of a difference it makes compared to stock.

Pretty quiet at idle but sounds nice when revved through stock muffler. Kinda deep and smooth while not being all that loud.

Thats all the help i can give sorry dude.

So is it noticably quicker? when u say stock muffler, so its aftermarket header and then everything from that till the end is stock?
