    BTM Coilovers ???

hey boys and girls so im waiting on my brake pads and rotor to be delivered after they sent me the wrong ones but i was having a look at my coilovers the the previous owner put in and there BTM i havent heard of this brand before then again thats not hard havent been in to Japaneses motoring long lol but im just wondering wat are they like? and i noticed that the rear coilover sleeve is ripped would this effect it aka dry the piston out faster or anything ?

MIK020 that is not BTM coilovers... I have checked for reviews itself and nothig is showing for that model... as far I can tell/look the spring rate appears to be 8-12 weight...

if you can maybe take more pics of the coils overall so we can actually check what mode and model it is.

    Thanks

    EDIT***

you have DTM coilovers.. Japanese company and appears to be good qaulity coilovers... as I checked for reviews... I think the company might be dead for some time casue no one has heard nor knows about the brand itself... apparently it was originally for BMW/VW cars

and for your question... no the ripped rubber wont affect performence to the piston itself.. however i would suggest to replace it and it will wear down alot quicker which will fragile the springs without support
