    EP3R Fuel Gauge / Light

Wondering if anyone has attempted to calibrate a fuel gauge on a Civic (assuming they are all pretty similar).

My fuel light comes on after 290kms where the gauge is on empty. I ran the entire tank empty this week where I made 573kms before it finally konked out. Means the tank is showing empty when there is roughly half a tank of fuel left.

Not that big a problem just a bit annoying not knowing how much fuel is left.

I'm having a similar issue on my DC5R.

Considering just getting another DC5 cluster, though finding one with similar km's is proving to be quite a pain.

We would probably have the exact same components. I would be careful replacing the cluster though. I'm thinking it will more likely be the float or the transmitter at the tank end that will be the problem.

Let me know if you can make any sense of this problem. I'll do the same
