Check the huge springs/shocks vs. coilovers thread that's been happening the last couple of days in the noob forum. There's a good amount of discussion there already.
OP just make sure you buy NEW as compared to USED. You have no idea the true kilometers on them, and could bust the first bump you go over. I recommend buying some Koni Yellow shocks with a Ground Control spring kit!
